How Did The Shorts Play Out
Here is the result to my short picks.
MIPS was under pressure from the start. Eventually it dropped 11%.
WNR did break finally break the 13$, but only for a while. It dropped back in a flash and ended 4% down.
OVTI tried to take out 8$, but it did not succeed. The stock was on a free fall, ending at 7.32$, down 7.5%.
ILMN still hoovering around the 200 dma. It was strong in the morning holding up above the 200 dma. However it was eventually broken and the stock ended the day 1.6% down.
AKAM continued its uptrend in the morning to 18$+. This run-up finally came to an end and pulled back ending 2% down.
SNX met resistance at 18$ and dropped 4% end of the day.
SEPR took out 17$ in the morning easily. Bio-tech stocks can make crazy run-ups. However finally the stock got overbought and took an U-turn ending 4% down.
COGO down 3%, NITE down 5%, SFLY down 6%, MTL down 14% and GERN down 7.5%
