BZ seems to have bottomed at @4.50 and now moving up. It closed up very nicely and was actually a good over night hold end of day. 50 day moving average at 5.30 will be good break to go long.

Boise Inc. BZ today reported net income of $48.2 million or $0.57 per diluted share for third quarter 2009, compared with third quarter 2008 net income of $4.4 million or $0.06 per diluted share and second quarter 2009 net income of $50.9 million or $0.60 per diluted share.

COT breakout today. However it was a weak breakout. I bought @8.77, but sold off @8.89 to lock in gains. Waiting for the @9.00 break to go long again tomorrow.

Cott Corporation (NYSE: COT) announced today that its wholly owned subsidiary, Cott Beverages Inc. GCHT is an OTC stock that keeps surging having now doubled from @1.50 to @3.00. It looks to have formed a nice cup and handle pattern. More spike can be expected.  No play for now, just watching.

GHLV is another OTC stock which is up from @0.50 to @1.16 now.  The news I found on them talks about share dilution @0.75 in return for cash.  Just watching for now.

Global Health Ventures Inc. (OTCBB:GHLV) or the “Company”, a Specialty Pharma is pleased to announce today that it has completed a non-brokered private placement of units (the “Units”). The Company issued 800,000 Units at a price of $0.75 per Unit for total gross proceeds of $600,000 (the “Private Placement”). Each Unit consists of one Common Share of the Company and one share purchase Warrant. Each Warrant is exercisable to purchase one common share of the company at a price of $1 per share at any time or before October 28, 2011.

The Company is presently negotiating the terms of the remaining funds and although there is no guarantee, management is quite confident of its success. The Company will use the proceeds of this financing to carry out the clinical trials needed for approval of its lead life-style pharmaceutical products, (X-Excite), a male sexual enhancement drug. X-Excite is a new formulation of an existing sexual enhancement drug, which is designed to rapidly enter the blood system, maximizing its efficacy and performance. The drug is developed to work sublingually, thus having a more rapid mode of action, and bypassing all the inconveniences and many side effects associated with other application routs. Life style products, such as ViagraTM, CialisTM and LevitraTM, etc are highly lucrative products for pharmaceutical companies. This trend shall continue and with the arrival of the new products, the former products shall loose a substantial portion of their market to the arrival of better and less side effects products. The need for a convenient, low cost and fast acting formulation is highly desirable and the Company believes to be able to take a lion share of the market.

As a result of the financing, our balance sheet will be significantly strengthened and the achievement of our goals are further materialized,” stated Dr. Hassan Salari, Global Health President and CEO.

PFAP put up some impressive volume today to close above @5.00. This is about to breakout. Long on green action. Additionally Amex news will help this stock upwards.

Pacific Asia Petroleum, Inc. (OTCBB:PFAP), engaged in the business of oil and gas development, production and distribution in Asia and the Pacific Rim countries, announced today its common stock has been approved for listing on the NYSE Amex. Trading is expected to begin on November 5, 2009 under the new ticker symbol PAP (NYSE Amex: PAP). Prior to that date, Pacific Asia Petroleum’s shares will continue to trade on the Over-the-Counter (OTC) Bulletin Board.

“Moving from the OTC Bulletin Board to the NYSE Amex is another tremendously important milestone for Pacific Asia Petroleum,” said President and CEO Frank C. Ingriselli. “We have always prided ourselves on our conservative accounting, transparency and corporate governance. Moving up to the NYSE Amex not only validates these efforts, it provides us with greater visibility for our company, more liquidity for our stock and the opportunity to further expand our investor base. We believe that this move will deliver more value for our shareholders now and down the road.”

QXM reported positive earnings and has seen a spike from @3.00 to @4.46. Probably i will not play this either long/short. (Too late for long and risky shorting positive earning spike). Just watching to see if we see any fading action to short scalp into.

Revenues for the second quarter of 2009 were RMB578.9 million (US$84.8 million), compared with RMB383.7 million in the same period of 2008. The increase from the second quarter of 2008 was primarily due to higher unit shipments and an increase in the average selling price (“ASP”) of products sold in the second quarter of 2009.

SHS gapped lower and was down all day. Not much exciting anymore, however might be a good short scalp on break below @8.00
